    Our Curriculum:

    Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England, but is influenced by current global topics and nuances of the UAE, meeting the specific interests of our international community of children. ASCS is completely technology enabled, a Google certified school, ensuring all teachers and children are equipped with Chrome books. Our staff and children are fully conversant with technology within the classroom and home learning.

    What we are looking for?

    We are looking for a Head of Arabic & Islamic Studies who:

    1. Has an undergraduate degree or major in Islamic Studies/ Arabic Language
    2. Has a minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role
    3. Has evidence of 'Outstanding' teaching practice
    4. Is confident in planning engaging, student-led lessons
    5. Has specific expertise in making Islam relevant to Arabs/Non-Arabs (Islamic A& B) and has the passion to inspire a love of learning in students Al Salam Recruitment Policy is designed to ensure that the most qualified, capable and effective individuals are selected and recruited for the School's community.
