    • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure a consistent and reliable supply of merchandise.
    • Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance to proactively address supply chain issues.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely deliveries.
    • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast demand accurately.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to gather relevant information and input for demand planning.
    • Continuously refine demand forecasts to adapt to changing market conditions.
    • Develop and manage seasonal merchandise budgets to optimize assortment and inventory levels.
    • Align seasonal budgeting with sales targets, company goals, and inventory turnover objectives.
    • Monitor budget performance and make adjustments as necessary to achieve financial targets.
    • Maintain and manage the open-to-buy plan, ensuring that it aligns with budgeted inventory levels and sales plans.
    • Work closely with merchandising teams to prioritize and allocate budgeted funds for purchasing merchandise.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management regarding open-to-buy performance and recommendations.
    • Implement replenishment strategies to maintain appropriate stock levels for core and bestselling products.
    • Develop allocation plans to distribute merchandise to stores or distribution centers based on demand and sales history.
    • Monitor and adjust allocation strategies as needed to optimize sales and minimize stockouts.
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute promotional events and campaigns.
    • Analyze the impact of promotions on demand and inventory levels to optimize future promotional strategies.
    • Ensure the alignment of promotional plans with overall merchandise and financial goals.
