    Description
    • Monitor and ensure site activitiesare carried out safely in adherence to Govt regulations andOSHAD.
    • Provide HSE support and guidance toconstruction and project team.
    • Support andpromote "Zero Accidents"philosophy
    • Ensure that all constructionactivities are carried out in a safe manner and in adherence to thecompany safety policy, statutory regulations and guidelinesonsite.
    • Review Contractors HSE Plan, proceduresand any HSE related documents and within agreedtimeframe.
    • Liaise with construction engineers,and Contractors HSE representatives on a daily basis for allmatters relating to HSE.
    • Attend weeklyprogress/HSE meetings/attended contractors toolboxtalks.
    • Take part in all accident/incident/nearmiss investigations relating to any construction related incidentand ensure timely reporting ofincidents.
    • Monitors work practices utilized byContractors to ascertain compliance.
    • Dailysafety walk-down at site and coordinate with HSE team on theparticular matters or issues forrectification.
    • Implementation of any safetyrelated procedures or safety awarenesscampaigns.
    • Ensure that Job Hazard Analysis(JHA), in conjunction with the Supervisor/Foreman, is implementedprior to start on complex or high risk work.
    • Bean onsite problem solver though helpful recommendations andpractical suggestions.
    • Perform site inspectionsfocusing on housekeeping, hygiene, fire prevention, welfarefacilities, first aid provisions and/or safe working practices.These inspections can be done with or without checklists orpreplanning;
    • Ensure that all constructionsafety systems and equipment are in place, operational andcorrectly serviced.
    • Participate in HSEawareness campaigns.
    • Daily Inspection relatingto Health, Safety and Environment aspects and coordinate with theContractor to remedy issues or non-compliancefound.
    • Conduct the Health and Safety inductiontraining to all personnel andvisitors.
    • Maintaining a safe working conditionto on-site workers.
    • Monitor and assess anyhazardous and unsafe situations and report to HSEManager.
    • Report and investigate incidents,injuries and hazards and administer agreed controlmeasures.
    • Speak to people wheneverextraordinary HSE performance is observed or when previous observedproblems are solved adequate and complimentthem.
