    Description
    • Responsible for implementation,monitoring, and auditing of OHSE management system across thecompany. Support Senior HSE Engineer and QHSE Manager StrategicalOHSE planning for all business units and Advising QHSE Manager onOHS issues. Be updated with OHSE statutory requirements and fulfillcompliance. OHS Manpower management. Oversee critical productionactivities in terms of OHSE supervision with support of OHS team,Identify unsafe act/conditions, advice field staff and workers forHSE procedures. Manage and oversee consultant/ contractors workmainly waste management, firefighting systems and Auditingagencies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implementation of Occupational Healthand Safety Management System (OHS MS) and Safe Operating Procedures(SOPs) to effectively communicate Safety requirements to theworkforce, peers and management.
    • Assist Sr HSEEngineer and QHSE Manager in establishing OHS Objectives andTargets, Annual Safety plan and Financial Budget to achievecommitments.
    • Support the Proposals team,Operations team and Projects team for HSEdocumentation.
    • Lead a team of HSEAdvisors/Officers/Specialist
    • Ensure complianceto all relevant quality, health, safety and environmentalmanagement policies, procedures and controls across all locationsto guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery ofhigh-quality products/service and a responsible environmentalattitude.
    • Ensure safety rules and regulationsare fully explained to the employees andcontractors.
    • Participate in incidentinvestigation teams to find out the root cause of the incident andprovide recommendations to preventrecurrence.
    • Ensure all relevant HSE relateddocument is maintained upto date and stored in an organizedmanner.
    • Conduct and participate inAudits.
    • Periodic visit to site locations inorder to ensure compliance to defined HSE and qualitystandards.
    • Regular inspections of thecontractor accommodation facilities and cateringservices.
    • Support development of HSE managementsystem and documentation.
    • Support to manageprocesses for disposal of waste, including hazardous wastesmanagement.
    • Contribute to the identification ofopportunities for continuous improvement of the HSE system,processes and practices considering international bestpractice.
    • Hazard Identification and RiskAssessment for manufacturing activities (mainly mechanicalfabrication, assembly, electrical, lifting, pressure testing,etc.), machineries and materials used in production process toeliminate workplace injuries andaccidents.
    • Finalize measures to control risk atthe factory by implementing engineering controls, machine guardingand ensure control measures are followed by employees. EvaluatingPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)requirements.
    • Ensure adequate safety trainingplan developed, implemented and workers are trained accordingly.Training records are retained as per procedure for further audits.Arrange certified training fromoutside.
    • Arrange Safety awareness program,awards and incentives for employees to motivate them for goodsafety practices.
    • Prepare monthly, Quarterlyand Annual Safety Performance report of company for managementreview and submission to IndustrialAuthority.
    • Develop & Implement Onsiteand offsite emergency plans. Schedule and monitor emergency mockdrills.
