    Description
    • To be responsible for theefficient and profitable day-to-day running of the bar operations,and manage the beverage section.
    • To beresponsible for the ordering and control of all beveragestocks.
    • To carry out the correct administrativeprocedures with regard to the orders, deliveries, and accountingfor bar stocks.
    • To supervise all barcolleagues, monitor performance, and ensure that colleagues at alltimes deliver high-quality service to theguest.
    • To serve behind the bar asnecessary.
    • To assist external stock takers inthe performance of their duties.
    • To ensure thatcellars are maintained to the highest standards in order to providethe guest with a high-quality product.
    • Toarrange appropriate staffing of the bars to meet the requirementsof the service and in accordance with the instructions of theF&B Manager.
    • To work flexible hours tomeet the requirements of their service and to cover specialfunctions.
    • To ensure that the bar operationscomply with all statutory requirements including Health &Safety, Licensing, and Food & Hygieneregulations.
    • To ensure that the service isprovided to the highest standards possible.
    • Towork in a manner, which encourages teamwork to attain targets as amatter of priority and provide appropriate products, services, andinformation.
    • Meet all needs and requests ofguests within specified time frames.
    • Identifyand take all opportunities to enhance the quality ofservice.
    • Offer assistance to colleagues whenrequired, to ensure designated work goals aremet.
    • Demonstrate trust, support, and respecttowards team members in day-to-day workactivities.
    • Conduct communication with guestsand colleagues in a polite, professional, and friendlymanner.
    • Practice high standards of professionalpresentation in accordance with grooming and presentationstandards.
    • To assist team members, supervisors,and managers when required.
    • Works with thesuperior in the preparation and management of thedepartment's budget and is aware of financialtargets.

    Desired Skill &Expertise:

    • Minimum 2 years of relevantexperience in managing the floor in an upscaleBar.
    • Technical education in Hospitalitymanagement or service methods would be anadvantage.
    • Possess verbal and writtenproficiency in English.
    • An ability to listenand respond to demanding Guest needs.
    • Excellentleadership, interpersonal and communicationskills.
    • Have a strong drive forresults.
