    Description

    * The Senior HSE Engineer shall have responsibilities of plan and lead the development management and effective implementation of Company/Department HSE objectives and targets across the projects.

    * Ensure the compliance of statutory requirements including Environmental Agency requests & ADNOC code of practice (CoP) ADOC HSE policies and HSEMS.

    * As well project execution in any phases (assessment design & EPC) shall be also essential with a primary focus on safety design works and loss prevention studies.

    Requirements

    * Strong knowledge of local and international legislation and regulations and best practice on HSE

    * Strong knowledge and experience in the application of process operation systems and technology in Oil & Gas sector

    * Strong knowledge of Environment Impact Assessment which shall be applicable at Abu Dhabi onshore & offshore

    * Subject Matter Expert for technical safety risk management and loss prevention aspects in project execution

    * Knowledge of industrial best practices & HSE laws /regulations

    * Expert knowledge of all OH&S and other relevant safety regulations and standards

    * Excellent risk assessment and auditing skills

    * Excellent incident investigation skills



    Knowledge of rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors and auxiliaries including associated international codes such as API and ISO Comprehensive understanding of HE and other regulatory compliance requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable. Professional Certifications Certified Training in RCM Modules preferred. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Certified Reliability Engineer according to ASQ Vibration Certification - At least Category II (Category III preferred) according to ISO Lube Analysis Certification - At least Level II Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA) (Category III preferred).
