    The InterContinental Hotels Groupproperties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands.These include the luxury brand InterContinental the superiorupscale Crowne Plaza the lavish longstay InterContinental ResidenceSuites and the vibrant midscale Holiday Inn. In addition to over1000 bedrooms the four properties boast a selection of high qualityrestaurants and bars an impressive 3800 square meter Event Centreacross two levels the 5000 square meters Festival Arena byInterContinental the luxurious Spa InterContinental stateoftheartgymnasium and swimming pool facilities.     A little taste of yourdaytoday:

    • Secure delivery of bestpossible products at the best possible price within requiredtimeframe while conforming to the quality and hygiene standards ofthe hotel.
    • Ensure proper filing and allocationof the purchase orders and required supporting documentation as perthe Procurement Policy.
    • Ensures timely deliveryof goods and services.
    • Monitors discrepanciesbetween the suppliers quotation and delivered price noted by theReceiving Agent and records these cases as glitches in the VendorPerformance Review (VPR).
    • Manages vendorrelationships and establishes contact with suitable/ prospectivevendors as per the ProcurementPolicy.
    • Responsible for resolving issues withvendors/delivered items or services raised by colleagues or HODsfilling up complaint forms whennecessary
    • Responsible for respective categoryvendor performance management including but not limited to updatingVendor Performance Report on a weekly basis maintaining vendorperformance feedback report from clusters Department Heads (HOD)bringing issues to attention of the management when deemednecessary.
    • Maintain list of approved andnonpreferred vendors as per the respective HODs vendor performancefeedback report and in accordance with the ProcurementPolicy.
    • Responsible for scheduling VPR meetingwith top vendors representing 80 % of total spend and volume as percategory.
    • Provides information to theDepartment Heads on the market trends with regards to the pricingand availability of all products.
    • Operatesunder minimum supervision and maintains close liaison with theProcurement Management regarding the departmental goals and isresponsible for driving the respective categorys targets includingmarket survey and savings.
    • Adhere to/promotethe IHG vendor code of conduct.
    • Makes sure thatthree (3) quotations are obtained for each purchase request for allthe direct items unless the 3 bids rule can be abstained as per theProcurement Policy.
    • Makes sure that all thepurchase orders allocated are approved before acquiring thematerials.
    • Ensures adherence to the urgentprocurement policy for the assigned category including PRallocation.
    • Provides the Procurement Managementwith periodic market survey/tender on the products for the assignedcategory.
    • Monitors the cash purchase as andwhen petty cash is handed over by the Assistant ProcurementManager/Procurement Manager/Director of Procurement. Makes surethat all Petty Cash voucher are submitted to the AssistantProcurement Manager/Procurement Manager/Director of Procurement toclaim reimbursement according to the ProcurementPolicy.
    • Day to day administrative tasks to beperformed for the department that includes documentation trackingof interdepartmental documents handover log books stationeryetc.

    What we need fromyou:

    • Bachelors degree in businessadministration
    • At least 1 year of workexperience
    • Proficiency in MSOffice
    • Familiarity with Jana Sky Soft is anadvantage.
    • Strong team collaborationskills
