    Description
    • Register and room all guestarrivals according to establishedprocedures
    • Perform check in, check out and roomchange procedures and ensure all data are accurately entered intothe hotel system
    • Maintain cashier float andensure accurate daily report of all moneyreceived
    • Cash hotel guests' personaland travelers checks and assist with currencyexchange
    • Keep abreast of all modifications toaccounting policies and procedures
    • Attend toguests' request of using the service of safety box at alltimes
    • Knowledgeable of all special promotionprocedures for programs such as Seasonal Packages, Frequent FlyersPrograms, and also Hotels Group Loyaltyprograms
    • Attend to guest'scomplaints, inquiries and requests, refer problems tosupervisor/Assistant Manager if he/she unable toassist
    • Is familiar with other Sofitelproperties so that guest indicating any next destination on theregistration card can be "sold" an onwardbooking to another Sofitel property
    • Ensure thatthe guests depart the hotel with a positive impression of hotelservice
    • Perform the audit balances and prepareall reports for audit in an orderlyfashion
    • When on night shift, check nightreport, prepare morning report and prepare all necessary forms forguest arrivals
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledgeof standard reservation procedures
    • Maintainexemplary department standards of behavior and appearance andattitude
    • Ensure front desk work area is keptclean and in an orderly state at all times
    • Isfully aware of the Credit policy
    • Adhere toOH&S policies and procedures
    • Performrelated duties and special projectsassigned
