    Stantec is lookingto hire a Planning Engineer with experience in water Drainage andStorm water Networks in Dubai.

    PlanningEngineer

    Qualifications:

    ThePlanning engineer must have relevant degree from recognizeduniversity and must have civil engineering background with aknowledge and work experience of not less than 10 years in designand construction programing/planning of similar projects. ThePlanning Engineer in association with the resident engineer shalldevelop the Project execution plan considering the properengineering techniques and milestone sequences for the Project. Hewill set targets for activities based on each activity of a Projectand ensure it meets DMs specifications and requirements. Planningengineers shall make estimations for timescales and costs usingspecialized design software packages (Primavera).

    The major Planning Engineer role is monitoring daytodaywork progress for the Project and provide accurate weekly andmonthly reports by swiftly communicating potential progress delaysor project slippages. Tracking and analyzing field results isanother key responsibility. Planning engineer continually makescomparisons between planned progress and actual progress andreports any differences to their lead project manager.

    He also studies the impact of alternativeapproaches.
