    • Performs specific and moderate portions ofa broader assignment of an experiencedengineer.
    • Gathers and correlates basicengineering data using established and well-definedprocedures.
    • Works on detailed or routineengineering assignments involving calculations and relativelysimple tests.
    • Proposes approach to solve newproblems encountered using modifications of standard procedures ormethods developed in previousassignments.
    • Identifies discrepancies inresults.
    • Provides guidance to entry levelengineers.
    • Performs work in accordance withagreed upon budget and schedule with littlesupervision.
    • Independently performs all thetasks necessary to complete primarydesign.

    Responsibilities:

    • Actas a design manager on mega projects, manage and coordinate withdifferent disciplines on the daily design activities and presentthe design updates weekly to theClient.
    • Preparation of all design stages ofroad geometry, signing and marking, ancillary works of major urbanand inter-urban road projects, incorporating tunnels, sophisticatedgrade separation interchanges, and service roads, investigation ofalternatives, route selection and preparation of the main items ofbill quantities.
    • Assigning work to juniorengineers, supervising work, acquiring Road Designapprovals.
    • Coordination with local authoritiesfor Road geometry, TIS approvals.
    • Responsiblefor the submission, discussion and follow up with local authoritiesfor approvals and permits in coordination with department localauthority Engineer.
    • Work coactively with thedesign team, collaborate closely with sub-consultants and liaisingwith clients ensuring theirsatisfaction.
    • Responsible for acquiring RoadDesign approvals, work closely with TIS consultant in obtainingapproval from the concernedauthorities.
    • Provide design support during theconstruction stage.
    • Leads a highway team, leadsthe highway design work, and coordinates with other designdisciplines.
    • Coordinates and communicates withthe client.
    • Performs interdisciplinary reviewsand provides coordinating data to ensure a compatibledesign.
    • Understands and applies companycommonly used design standards andmethods.
    • Prepares manpowerestimates.
    • Design of grade-separatedinterchanges and complex interchanges.
    • Designof junctions of roundabouts and signalized junctions bothhorizontally and vertically, and the development of sitegrading.
    • Design the Roads in 3Denvironment.
    • Design of road cross-sections andgenerating earthwork quantities from the 3Dmodel.
    • Pavement design and pavement designreports.
    • Be able to prepare the requiredpresentations to client using PowerPoint or any other applicablesoftware.
    • Reviews supplier data asrequired.
    • Reads supplier manufacturerdrawings.
    • Completes additional duties asassigned.
