    Description
    • Perform other duties andresponsibilities as assigned by the Guest Relations Manager orAssistant Front Office Manager.
    • Represent theGuest Relations Manager in his/herabsence.
    • Know the standards and put them intopractice in his daily work, thus actively pursuing thehotel's objectives.
    • Supervise theorder and cleanliness of the department and lobby. Ensureappropriate appearance of all team members. Carry out regularchecks in the reception and foyer area in respect of thecleanliness, modernity and good condition of the equipment andinstallations.
    • Draw up the holiday list byagreement with the Guest RelationsManager.
    • Participate regularly in trainingcourses and put the skills learned there intopractice.
    • Check that standards are maintainedby targeted training
    • Recognize trainingrequirements; assist in developing training plans and trainingcourses for employees.
    • Take regular part inmeetings and shift handovers.
    • Ensure a good,performance oriented working environment within the department andmotivate his team.
    • Take handover from theprevious shift and pass on to the next shift all the relevantinformation from the previous shift, including the volume ofbusiness, special guests, tasks to be clarified and to be completedand special events.
    • Is familiar with all theupdates on Hotel and Local attractions.
    • Receiveguests' complaints, ensure that the guests are satisfiedimmediately, and inform the Guest RelationsManager.
    • Know all the functions of the computersystem and eliminate minor errors in the softwareitself.
    • Daily checks on the arrivals and VIPlists for room allocation, VIP treatments and specialrequirements.
    • Knowledge of the Hilton HonorsProgram.
    • Maintain regular contact with frequentguests and all important guests of theHotel.
    • Support the Guest Relations Manager incarrying out all administrative work.
    • A furtherduty is maintaining an appropriate standard of tidiness in the workplace and of dress.
    • Is aware of the jointresponsibility for safety in our Hotel and abides strictly by allthe safety instructions, especially when operating the machines andequipment.
    • Behave at all times in such a way asto avoid accidents.
    • Is able to raise theinternal alarms correctly.
    • Know how to what todo in case of an evacuation/fire alarm or other emergencies threats).
    • Assist with other departments,as necessary
