- Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
- New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions.
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
- Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers and generate new leads.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products/services and effectively communicate their features and benefits to potential clients.
- Initiate and maintain a rapport with clients by establishing trust and understanding their needs.
- Manage and update the customer database with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets and quotas.
- Handle objections and provide appropriate solutions to convert leads into sales.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of industry trends and competitors to effectively position our offerings.
- Document and report on sales activities, customer interactions, and outcomes using our CRM software.
- Continuously improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and communication skills through ongoing training and professional development.
- You have at least 1 year experience ideally in Business Development / Account Manager (B2B) within Professional Services industry.
- Experience within would be a strong advantage.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
