    Description

    What You'll BeDoing:

    • Processesone or more document types through all procedural steps inaccordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines. Ensuresthat pre-established document control requirements (e.g., whichdocument numbering system will be used; how many and whichsignatures will be required for certain approvals, etc.) aresatisfactorily met throughout the duration of theproject.
    • Receives, tracks,and monitors documents using standard document management programsto register documents, maintain databases, and produces logs,transmittals, and other reports as required. Enters data andproduces reports using other standard office automation ordepartment-specific computerapplications.
    • Scansdocuments for electronicstorage.
    • Maintains anestablished data distribution system and schedule for the assignedproject based upon client, project, department, and supplierrequirements. Expedites review, signature approval, and release ofsupplier and internally produceddocuments.
    • May perform someclerical duties such as light typing, filing, answering phones,messenger service,etc.
    • Assists junior documentcontrol staff to ensure effective implementation ofproject-specificprocedures.
    • Performs otherduties commensurate with functional level andresponsibilities.
    • Contributesas a team player who is deadline driven and works well withothers.
    • Performs otherresponsibilities associated with this position as may beappropriate.

    What Required SkillsYou'llBring:

    • Highschool diploma (orequivalent).
    • 3+ years ofrelevant work experience, including 2+ years of prior documentcontrolexperience.
    • Proficiency inMS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint andExcel.
    • Assignments willrequire a working knowledge of Electronic Document ManagementSystems.
    • Good written andoral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, aswell as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with projectpersonnel andmanagement.
