    Description

    Overview

    TheNew Business Advisor will be the initial point of contact withclients and is responsible for attracting and onboarding new clientThis individual will have a broad understanding of wealthmanagement practices and investment strategies with the idealcandidate having proven experience with new business and sales TheNew Business Advisor will work in tandem with Wealth Advisorswithin the firm in a team relationship

    Responsibilities

    • Abilityto establish client investment objectives including risk tolerance,asset allocation, and cashrequirements
    • Work with firm teammembers to identify and implement an appropriate investmentstrategy for each client based on their goals, objectives, and risk
    • Work with client to developindividual investmentobjectives
    • Collaborate withstrategic custodial partners and COIs to create and fosterpartnership
    • Reviews portfolio issues(, taxes, liquidity events, ) asneeded
    • Manage investment transitionfor new clients
    • Communicate andcollaborates with the Investment Team regarding investment strategyand client portfoliostructure
    • Provide recommendations toindividuals and families enabling them to fulfill their financialgoals
    • Identify insurance needs forclients and assess propersolutions
    • Ability to discussinvestment performance, economic and markettrends
    • Develop a knowledge of theclient s entire financial and family situation and be able tostructure investment and financialplan
    • Ability to discuss estateplanning and work with internal and external resources to meet theestate planning goals of theclient
    • Direct consultation withattorneys and accountants on financial, tax, and estateplanning
    • Client meeting planning,facilitation, and presentation
    • Seekto increase current accounts through additions toAUM
    • Compliance awareness with allindustry rules and regulations and firmpolicies
    • Other duties asassigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree from an accredited college oruniversity
    • Minimum 10 years relevantexperience within financial services, wealth managementpreferred
    • Strong organization andcommunication skills
    • Ability to workin a team environment
    • Proven trackrecord and sales ability to close newbusiness
    • Competence with industrysoftware to include CRM, Portfolio Management system, MS Office,custodialplatform


    5+ years of specifically selling to stock market investors CurrentInvestment Adviser Representative designation, OR FINRA Series 65,OR a combination of FINRA Series 7 & 66, OR qualifyingfinancial professional designations Experience bringing in newinvestor business Experience in high-volume phone activity andin-person meetings Record of six-figure earnings in each of thepast 3 years (pay for production compensation model)
