    Asa Maintenance Technician II you will use your skills to support theOperations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining materialhandling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building.

    About the Role:

    As a Maintenance Technician IIyou will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance teamin repairing and maintaining material handling equipment andpneumatic systems throughout the building.

    You will have theopportunity to install maintain and repair automated packaging anddistribution equipment. In addition to developing your skills youwill mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

    Key job responsibilities Responsibilities include butare not limited to Promote a safe working environment by followingall safety procedures Complete preventative maintenance routineswith proper documentation Troubleshoot electrical and mechanicalproblems related to all Material Handling Equipment MHE whichincludes belts motors photo-eyes relays and more Maintain apositive working relationships across all of the Amazon Operationsfacility Track and store department inventory Move up to 49lbs aswell as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours with orwithout reasonable accommodation Basic qualifications 1 years ofMicrosoft Office products and applications experience High schoolor equivalent diploma Work a flexible schedule/shift/work areaincluding weekends nights and/or holidays Preferred qualificationsAssociates or higher degree from a vocational school or collegewith a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field 2 years ofexperience with automated conveyor systems and controls 2 years ofexperience in the repair of material handling equipment 2 years ofexperience conducting predictive and preventative maintenanceprocedures 1 years of metal and wood fabrication 1 years ofblueprint and electrical schematic reading 1 year of knowledge withelectrical and electronic principles 2 years apprenticeship orequivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical fieldExperience with Material Handling Equipment MHE safety standardsaccordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer OEM and Safetystandards Project Management experience Experience with aComputerized Maintenance Management System CMMS Experience withrobotic operation and maintenance Able to troubleshoot basic inputand outputfunctions
