    Job Title:Structural Engineer

    JobPurpose:

    Responsible for thereview of structural designs calculations and analysis aspects ofthe building permits applications and projects to ensure thatbuildings and structures are safe and capable of withstanding theelements to which they will be exposed to ensure compliance withauthorities requirements regulations and rules as well asapplicable international standards. Support projects teams in anystructural review design or potential improvements or refurbishmentrequirements.

    Jobresponsibilities:

    • Reviewof structural system and developed models design and interpretdesign results with the aid of structural design programs such asSTAAD Pro CSI ETABS CSI SAFE CSI SAP PROKONIDEA STATICA AND RAMCONNECTION for the assigned activities in view of safety andstability of the structure in accordance with the governingcodes.
    • Performing structural analysis / designusing software and hand calculations to ensure its structuralintegrity.
    • Ensure all projects/ applicationsdocumentation and deliverables are reviewed in accordance withpolicies and procedures.
    • Reviewing CoordinatingObtaining and/or planning building in accordance to regulations andrequirements or any other authorities in order to obtain approvalon the structural design.
    • Technical review ofStructural Engineering Design calculations assessment on varioustypes of the industrial projects/ applications assignedto.
    • Communicate effectively with clientsconsultants and contractors as well authorities when applicable forthe requirements and documentations associated with submissions.
    • Familiar with project management practices tofacilitate/ support clients or projects execution also to be ableto manage departmental projects with the team.
    • Familiar with infrastructure works and NOCprocess with local and federalauthorities.
    • Maintain organize TSS permits andapproval documents drawings. Appropriately record the document flowto ensure that all documents can be retrieved whenneeded
    • Responsible following up approvals forpermits drawings & approvals NOCs letters completioncertificates and other technical documentation from the concernedstaff.
    • Responsible for timely communicationand completion; escalate any unresolved issues to the line managerand follow up till completion.
    • Responsible forthe preparation of a structural design report and potentialstructural improvements to existing buildings whenrequired.
    • Making calculations about loads andstresses for industrial construction or any other type ofapplications.
    • Monitoring and inspecting workundertaken by contractors and inspecting the facilities to checkthe conditions.
    • Participate in the review ofcontractor work activities; ensure contract compliance withcontract obligations.
    • Provides support theprojects team in any structural related to project design orexecution.
    • Oversee the construction ofbuildings / facilities if it covers the issued NOCs permitsetc.
    • Other tasks as assigned by theManagement.

    EducationalQualifications:

    • BachelorsDegree in CivilEngineering

    ProfessionalQualifications

    • Professionalcertification relevant to the field from a recognized professionalbody.

    Years ofExperience

    • Minimum of810 years experience in a similar position in an EngineeringConsulting firms or municipal/ construction permitting authorities
