    Description
    • Responsible for the overallproject inter-discipline coordination between members of theoperations support groups, throughout one or more project phases ofdetail design, fabrication, offshore installation andhook-up:
    • Supervises discipline Productionengineers
    • Identifies production engineerresource needs for the project and communicate these regularly toDivision Production Engineer
    • Manage theprogress and productivity reporting on theproject
    • Understands the full contractual scopeof work, contract type and milestoneschedules
    • Reviews constructability and ensurework execution plan is based on the most productiveoption.
    • Conducts fabrication 4WLA andprioritizes material and drawings tosuit
    • Responsible for documenting all scope ofwork changes, and coordinating AFC estimateupdates.
    • Responsible for initiating andapproving all revisions orders and change orders via theDTCM
    • Solves technical problems and initiatessite queries to ensure work disruption is minimized andproductivity is optimized.
    • Lead by example infollowing the company safety policies.
    • Chairsthe fabrication 4WLA and forecast fabrication and engineeringrequirements to meet the project contractschedule.
    • Manages the project weeklyfabrication progress and productivity and ensures is withinbudget
    • Manages any scope of work changes andensures AFC estimate is up to date and that revision and changeorders are initiated.
    • Understands the scope ofwork, schedules, specifications and prepare project specific tasklisting
    • At commencement of the project, chairsa fabrication kick-off meeting
    • Identifies andsupervises project production engineering resources required toachieve fabrication productivitygoals.
    • Appraises fabrication management of anyproject issues which effect the forecasted progress, productivityand schedule commitments
    • Develops a work packindex and sets priorities and deliverable dates for the disciplineteams
    • Directs the discipline groups with allmaterial ordering priorities and schedule dates to suit thefabrication sequence
    • Reviews materialexpediting reports and advises Procurement personnel of anyconcerns and mitigation plans asnecessary
    • Solves project specific constructionproblems with the assistance of Division Production Engineer whererequired.
    • Authorizes technicalqueries/correspondence to be issued to theclient.
    • Directs the discipline groups with allengineering deliverable priorities to satisfy project andcontractual requirements.
    • Develops projectfabrication execution plan which satisfies the contractrequirements most productively
    • Interfaces withother key project personnel such as project cost engineers, marineoperations engineers, Quality manager
    • Leadsproject constructability program effort forfabrication
    • Incorporates project fabricationlessons learnt into the global lessons learntdatabase
    • Identifies project risks andopportunities.
    • Establishes a productive workingrelationship with client representatives.
    • LeadsFabrication proposal efforts as per company procedures.

    Qualifications

    EssentialQualifications and Education:

    • 5+ years in Offshore andPetrochemical
    • Engineering bachelor'sdegree
    • Minimum of 5 years as a disciplineproduction engineer
