    Description

    We have been given an excitingmandate by our client a leading manufacturing company in the UAE.They are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior NetworkSecurity Engineer. In this role your duties and responsibilitieswould include but not limited to:

    Network SecurityDesign and Implementation: Design develop and implement robustnetwork security architectures policies and procedures to safeguardthe organizations network infrastructure against potential threatsandvulnerabilities.

    IncidentResponse and Management: Develop and execute incident responseplans to promptly address and mitigate security breaches orvulnerabilities in the networkinfrastructure.

    VulnerabilityAssessments and Penetration Testing: Conduct regular securityassessments vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identifyweaknesses in the network infrastructure and develop effectiveremediationplans.

    SecurityMonitoring and Analysis: Monitor network traffic log data andsecurity events to identify and respond to potential securityincidents. Analyse security logs and reports investigate anyanomalies and take appropriateaction.

    Security Policyand Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standardsregulatory requirements and best practices related to networksecurity. Develop and enforce security policies and proceduresthroughout theorganization.

    Network Troubleshooting andOptimization: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to diagnoseand resolve complex network security issues. Identify areas forimprovement and implement network optimization strategies toenhance performance andreliability.


    Requirements

    Tobe considered for this role you must meet the followingcriteria:

    Mandatoryrequirements:

    Computerscience orequivalent.

    8 yearscommercial experience in complex networkenvironments

    Firewalls:Check Point Fortinet Sophos Palo Alto Cisco WAF AzureNetworking.

    Provenexperience as a Senior Network Engineer Network Administrator or ina similar role with a focus on networksecurity

    Handsonexperience with network security devices including Check PointFortinet Sophos Palo Alto firewalls and other leadingvendors.

    Required Technical knowledge andskills.

    Hands onexperience on Cisco products (routers Nexus L3 & L2switches )

    Deepunderstanding of network protocols routing switching firewalltechnologies VPN IDS/IPS and other network securitytechnologies.

    Experience withmultiple sites: head office & Branches connectivity withCloud datacentre

    Strongknowledge of security frameworks standards and best practices (e.g.ISO 27001PCI)

    Experience withsecurity tools and technologies such as SIEM vulnerability scannersintrusion detection/prevention systems and packet analysistools

    Maintaincomplete technical documentation and Network architecturediagrams.

    NetworkOperating Systems (e.g. IOS Giaa Forti OS).

    Networkmonitoring and management (e.g. SyslogSNMP).

    Sniffers andProtocol Analysers (e.g.Wireshark tcpdumpethereal).

    Knowledge ofrouting protocols (RIP OSPF BGP) and switching technologies (VPCVSS STP HSRPVRRPLACP & Pagp)

    Strong workingknowledge of commonly used appliances (load balancers VPNappliances WAN accelerators cache devices packet shapers protocolanalyzers).

    A solidunderstanding of WAN and LAN switching and routing ARP TCP IP HTTPSMTP DNS and other related internetprotocols.

    A strongworking knowledge of secure Web applicationdelivery.

    A strongworking knowledge of the TCP/IP protocolstack.

    A strongworking knowledge of application layerprotocols.

    Knowledge ofLayer 47 load balancing and SSL accelerationtechnologies.

    Experience withcentralized device monitoring and management tools such as ManageEngine OpManager Crowd Strike EDR & SIEM.

    Knowledge ofEndpoint security including Trellix.

    Preferred Certifications:CCNA CCNP CCSA Fortinet Sophos XG. CheckPoint.
