    Joyful Co-Educators foster an environment that promotes thephysical, mental, social-emotional, cognitive, and academicwell-being of all children at Joyful Tots Childcare and LearningCenter. The Co-Educator functions as a substitute for an absentLead Educator and works together with them to create a team-likeatmosphere. Co-Educators provide quality care in balance withsocial and intellectual experiences and assist with planning andimplementing classroom activities.

    $11.00-$13.00

    Responsibilities:
    • Knowing and practicing JoyfulTots' philosophy, mission, and corevalues
    • Maintainingprofessionalism with everyone
    • Adhering to all security standards throughproper maintenance of the building, grounds, andequipment
    • Assistingeducators in the classroom, howevernecessary
    • Understanding and implementing the JoyfulTots Childcare and Learning Centercurriculum
    • Knowingproper nutrition requirements for the ages of children served andpreparing snacks/meals as needed
    • Providing professional supervision of allstaff and children
    • Ensuring Educators are documenting on tabletsin parents' communication apps and monitoring fordialogue
    • Maintainingorderliness and cleanliness of materials, supplies, and equipment
    • Functioning as acooperative leader, willing to share ideas, time, and services, andhelp others achieve their best daily
    • Opening and/or closing thecenter
    • Completingrequested tasks and assignments beforedeadlines
    • Performingother duties as assigned by management
    • Maintaining confidentiality of children andstaff issues
    • Keepingin communication with the Director regarding matters related to theoperations of the center
    • Representing the center at communityfunctions when necessary

    Requirements:
    • Have a high school diploma/equivalent orhigher, plus relevant work experience in education and/orchildcare.
    • CompletePediatric CPR and First Aid training within 30 days from the hiredate
    • CompleteBloodborne Pathogen training within 1 day from the hiredate
    • Provide anegative TB test result document
    • Be willing and able to continue theireducation by earning certificates and completing semester and clockhours.
    • Be able towork independently and collaborate withothers
    • Have excellentverbal and written communication skills
    • Have reliabletransportation
    • Listenand follow directions well, and have the willingness to serveothers.
    • Know andimplement State licensing and health requirements, including beinga mandated reporter.
    • Be able to handle the physical demands ofcaring for young children, including sitting, standing, kneeling,crouching, crawling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs., andhaving sufficient hearing and vision to monitoractivity.
