    Description


    he Project Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management of projects within the support services departments and the University.

    This role is instrumental in maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and optimizing cross-functional projects' performance.

    The Specialist will be responsible for producing and managing project documentation, generating project reports for management, and actively engaging in task follow-up to drive project success.


    Operational Responsibilities:
    Create, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules, ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed about project timelines and milestones.
    Monitor project progress and identifying deviations from planned schedules.
    Coordinate cross-functional projects teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members.
    Assist in generating, organizing, and managing project documentation, including project scope, meeting minutes, and status reports.
    Assist in the creation of project reports for management, offering insights into project status, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
    Follow-up on assigned tasks, tracking their completion and ensuring that projects move forward according to the established plans.
    Utilize project management tools and software to streamline project tracking, reporting, and documentation processes.
    Conduct regular project review meetings to assess project performance, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals.
    Adhere to the University's information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly
    Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed.
    Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in a related field
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, project management or related field

    Other Requirements:
    Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
    Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team

    Required Experience:

    UAE Nationals:
    (0) Experience requirement with good potential to perform assigned duties.

    Preferred:
    Some relevant experience in project coordination, project management or related field

    Expats:


    A minimum 5 years of experience of which at least 3 years of experience in project coordination, project management or related field.
