Head of Sales - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Gargash Oil Company
Description
1. Set and implement plans to achieve strategic objectives.- Set and distribute Sales targets for the different areas, regions, brands, sections, etc. and follow up the overall performance of the department.
- Conduct market studies and analysis to capture market trends and needs.
- Forecast local/export market demands and patterns to understand current and future demands and ensure readiness and response.
- Implement pricing, promotions, and discounts policies, to ensure feasibility and profitability.
- Responsible for all commercial aspects of engagement with Customers, looking at existing contracts - analysis, negotiation, governance and closure.
- Provision of all commercial deliverables (eg negotiation plan, contract risk analysis, benefits analysis and contract creation and closure)
- Implement inventory and stock policies to ensure response to market demands, and a monitoring system to track sales and stock balances and movement for each distributor.
- Establish, maintain, and improve Local/Export Sales and Marketing processes and work instructions, including credit limits and collection to ensure efficiency and consistency in operation.
- Monitor, measure, and enhance brands' strength and equity.
- Implement marketing plans, including promotions, exhibitions, etc.
- Establish proper reviews, meetings, and reporting mechanisms to ensure all local/export sales data and information are communicated and maintained for analysis and improvements.
- Follow up continually the achievement of local/export sales targets in reference to the set plans and take all necessary actions to resolve issues and overcome obstacles.
- Establish, maintain, and expand local/export customer base for all areas/regions and customer categories.
Managerial/ Supervisory:_
- Setting strategic objectives for Local Sales & Marketing, and following up progress.
- Planning and managing Advertising and Promotion budgets, and exerting financial control over Local/Export Sales & Marketing activities.
- Planning, managing, and directing activities of Local/Export Sales & Marketing to ensure smooth functioning.
Experience:
- 10 years of managerial work experience in Local Sales & Marketing.
- 5 years of managerial work experience in Edible oil/Commodity/Food Industry
Salary:
AED30, AED35,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Edible oil industry: 3 years (required)
- Commodity/food industry: 5 years (required)
