    Description
    • The ability to follow instructionand work closely with the senior chef, executive sous chef andexecutive chef.
    • The ability to work closelywith the Chef de Partie or senior chef in preparing mise enplace.
    • The ability to work as directed onstation of assignment under the appropriate chef de partie orsenior chef.
    • To report in the kitchen at yourstation at scheduled times regardless of beginning off shift orreturning from meal break.
    • To wear uniformsaccording to Swisssotel standards.
    • The abilityto work closely with standard recipes, photos and platepresentations in order to maintain quality standards andpresentation in accordance with Swissotel established guidelinesand standards
    • The ability to work neatly andclean; keeping all work areas and refrigerators organized and inaccordance with sanitary requirements. "first in firstout" & "if you make the mess, you cleanit up"
    • The ability to follow HACCPguidelines and municipality regulations at alltimes.
    • The ability to follow clean as you gopolicy and keep work area clean at alltimes.
    • The ability to taste and season the foodappropriately and to ensure it is well presented and of thestandard and quality required before serving it to theguest.
    • The ability and desire to proactivelylearn, test and sample (eat) all world cuisines by whatever meanspossible whether through hotel programs and training or self-taughtresearch and development.
    • The ability to keepwaste to a minimum and work in a proactive manner to assist inmeeting budgeted food costlevels
