    Description

    Operate CNC Router

    • Enter dimensions in CNC Router fromblueprint.
    • Initiate CNC Router using startbutton.
    • Move sheet board onto Router usingvacuum lifter.
    • Stack cut wood on rollingcart.
    • Move pallet of wood next to vacuumlifter

    Monitor workenvironment

    • Checkequipment to ensure properfunctioning.
    • Maintain established safety rulesand regulations.
    • Discard scrap would inappropriate bin.
    • Dispose of scrap pieces intodisposal bin.
    • Disassemble 4X4 pallet andcardboard
    • Remove completed materials fromcutting or slicing machines.
    • Clean offworkspace using compressed air.
    • Communicatewith maintenance staff for major maintenance issues.

    Prepare last finishes on wood forother departments

    • Smoothwood using sander.
    • Inspect final wood piece fordefects.
    • Stack finished wood panel on rollingcart.
    • Transport finished materials to otherdepartments using rolling cart.
    • Perform finaltouch-ups with sandpaper.
    • Complete work orderreports using pen or pencil.

    Knowledge, Skills, AndAbilities Required

    Productionand processing - knowledge of woodworking, stain, sand, paint,lacquer, raw materials, the production process, quality control,costs

    Controlling machines and processes -using control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operatemachines or processes (not computers orvehicles)
