- Review, analyzeand support the development, implementation, review, and exerciseof business continuity planning and executionprocedures.
- Evaluate business resourcesnecessary to plan and execute continuityprocedures.
- Review Business Continuity programcomponents (Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessments, plans,strategies, etc.) to ensure that they are current, effective, andaddress business requirements. Incorporate lessons learned andleading practices from exercises into processes across thebusiness.
- Assist in the development of metricsand reporting of relevant business continuitycapabilities.
- Facilitate assessment of businessdecisions on the business continuity processes and initiateimprovements.
- Facilitate business processcomponent of impact analysis and threatassessments.
- Assess the impact of businessprocess and organizational changes on continuity plans andprocesses.
- Assist with the administration ofthe Business Continuity Management System and the EmergencyNotification System.
- Evaluate ongoing abilityof business continuity strategies to meet businessrequirements.
- Act as a scribe in all BusinessContinuity workshops as well as all Business Continuity Riskworkshops.
- Follow up with sites, Pipeline andHead Office functions for updates to the Business Impact Analysisacross the organization.
- Develop schedules andmaterials for Business Continuity training/awareness activities toensure that business continuity teams are trained and proficient inimplementing the business continuityplans.
- Maintain business continuity relateddocuments including non-disclosure agreements. Monitor and updateBCM related documents and procedures on theorganizations' intranet.
- Monitor,collate and store current versions of all Assets, Function andDivision BCP's and associated documentation to ensureaccessibility as and when required by all levels ofstakeholder.
- Review and update of the companyBusiness Continuity Focal Points & Business ContinuityWorking Group list.
- Prepare attendance sheets,Risk Assessment Matrix, room bookings to enable a risk assessmentsacross the organization to takeplace
- Participate in arranging BCM Awarenesssessions.
- Coordinate business recoveryexercises.
- Facilitate emergency communicationswith employees, Administer emergency communicationstools.
- Schedule conference calls, supportingemergency communications, preparing and distributing statusupdates, guiding decision-making, ensuring execution of actionitems, and creating post-incidentreports.
- Monitor BCM exercises at CrisisManagement Team (IMT) level. Monitor BCM related activities atCrisis Management Team (IMT) led exercises and guide in mattersrelated to implementation of Business Continuity Plans(BCP).
- Plan, supervise and coordinate allactivities in the assigned area to meet functionalobjectives.
- Train and develop the assignedstaff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on thejob and deliver the respective functional objectives.
- Provide input for preparation of theSection / Team / Department budgets and assist in theimplementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliverfunctional objectives.
- Investigate andhighlight any significant variances to support effectiveperformance and cost control.
- Implement approved Section / Team /Department policies, processes, systems, standards and proceduresin order to support execution of the work programs in line withCompany and International standards.
- Complywith all applicable legislation and legal regulations.
- Contribute to the achievement of theapproved Performance Objectives for the Section / Team / Departmentin line with the Company Performance framework.
- Design andimplement new tools and techniques to improve the quality andefficiency of operational processes.
- Identifyimprovements in internal processes against best practices inpursuit of greater efficiency in line with best Industry standardsin order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting thefunction.
- Comply with relevant HSE policies,procedures & controls and applicable legislation andsustainability guidelines in line with international standards,best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices
- Provide inputs to prepare MIS andprogress reports for Company Management.
- Bachelor's Degree inengineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years ofexperience in the Oil & Gas Industry related to BusinessContinuity, Crisis management and BusinessResilience.
- Understanding of BusinessContinuity Management Standard Specifications (AE/SCNS/NCEMA7000:2021).
- Very good knowledge oncompany's business in relation to its products,customers, operational flexibilities, procurement process /procedures, IT Disaster Recovery Plan, OT Disaster Recovery Plan,BCM Manpower assessment, Work Area Recovery Strategies, CrisisManagement Standard, "ADNOC Code of Practice on Incidentand Crisis Management," and have a thorough understandingof enterprise risk management.
