    What are we looking for?

    We are looking for an experienced Deputy Head of Primary to join our team in August 2024

    Main Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Head of Primary for self-review and evaluation in order to drive school improvement.
  • Effective planning and management of resources to secure improvements to meet the UAE National Agenda targets.
  • Champion the ethos and values of Al Salam.
  • Oversee the Key Stage leaders and Year leaders and help manage other staff and resources to ensure the smooth operational running of the primary school.
  • Work with Subject leaders and other school leaders to review, enhance and implement pastoral support and care, wellbeing and enrichment programmes.
  • Undertaking teaching and other professional duties as reasonably delegated by the Head of the Primary.Position Requirements:

    Education:

    Master's degree, Teaching certification, NPQH or equivalent Educational leadership qualification.

    Experience:

    Three years of school management/leadership in a similar setting.

  • Knowledge of international accreditation, inspection and evaluation frameworks
  • Experience in child protection, health and safety
  • Experience in developing, planning and delivering excellent provision
  • Highly effective relationship management with a variety of stakeholders
  • Display a high level of professional competence in all areas of responsibility
  • Collaborative team player and strategic thinker
  • Able to convert vision into action
  • Flexible and capable of managing growth and instilling high standards, adept in multilingual settings.
