- Assist Project Management Specialist in developing comprehensive project plans and detailed project roadmaps for the successful administration, governance and implementation of allocated projects and programs within the set timelines, budget and quality parameters
- Manage each step of allocated projects and programs from planning to completion including monitoring, reporting and follow ups to ensure all activities are being executed within the timeframe of the planned schedule
- Utilize various project management technique and tools like WBS, PIP, AWPs, etc. to outline the purpose, scope and requirements of the project and to facilitate effective administration of projects throughout its lifecycle
- Develop the project initiation document in order to ensure that projects are carried out consistently and successfully in accordance with organisational strategies
- Conduct feasibility study and estimate what resources will be needed to complete the project, including teams and materials, and the budget associated with executing the project
- Conduct research and data analysis and synthesize and/or create reports and spreadsheets in excel based on program needs or program deliverables, and in order to track program benchmarks and make recommendations for change
- Analyse potential risks, issues or changes that may take place that could impact the project's timeline and suggest changes accordingly
- Manage project resources effectively and efficiently in order to ensure effective delivery of project milestones
- Implement effective internal communication strategy on projects and programmes to provide project management updates to Senior Executives, managers, stakeholders, etc. on status of milestones and deliverables as well as anticipated issues and challenges
- Conduct risk assessments to identify impending risks and challenges including unrealistic time and cost estimates, customer review cycle, budget cuts, changing requirements, and lack of committed resources; recommend mitigation actions and solutions
- Monitor the progress of a project against agreed and documented time, quality and budget targets and manage project changes to achieve required project outputs
- Prepare and maintain complete and accurate documents and reports including project expenditure updates and other financial reports
- Associate's or bachelor's degree required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- 5 years of experience of working in a project related environment
