    ANorth-CentralIllinois AutomotiveService Center has an amazing, full-timeopening at their busy shop for an Experienced Automotive ServiceManager. The Service Manager role is critical to the overallsuccess of the shop. They are the keeper of the values, themaintainer of the standards, and the leader whom everyone in theshop follows. The person who fills this role will not only lead andmanage all aspects of the shop, but they will also sell repairs toclients as needed to help the shop reach its sales goals.     Requirements

    • Must be able towork and complete work tasks in a timely fashion in an environmentthat has constant distractions andinterruptions.
    • Must possess a workingknowledge of how to use a Windowscomputer.
    • Must be able to communicatein English fluently, both in verbal and in writtenform.
    • Must possess ability tocount. Must know how to perform basic math functions (addition,subtraction, division, multiplication) using acalculator.
    • Self-aware, servant leaderwith proven experience managing (included interviewing, hiring,training, counseling, and termination ofemployees).
    • Previous experience withperformance management including coaching, setting expectations,writing, and delivering performance reviews, managing disciplinaryactions, conducting investigations, and holding employeesaccountable for results
    • Strong motivator with theability to proactively diagnose problems and provide effectivesolutions; ability to deal with problems involving several concretevariables in standardized situation
    • Provenpractitioner in sales with the ability to train others insuccessful sales techniques andstrategies
    • Ability to read, interpretand communicate business and financial documentsregularly
    • Ability to interrupt andcalculate figures such as financial reports, discounts, interest,and percentages; ability to apply concepts of basicmath
    • Demonstrated experiencemanaging a P&L and familiarity with key line-itemmanagement to impact results
