    Your mission:


    The Business Controller is part of the team that oversees the control over Epson businesses and profitability in CISMETA region.

    The team is responsible for month end reporting versus plan, preparation of budget & forecasts and supporting business managers by providing information for action.

    The focus area of this role will be defined within the scope of Revenue, SGA, Incidentals, COGS and Inventory.

    What you will do:

    • Preparation and submission of budget and multiple forecast cycles throughout the fiscal year for the CISMETA region
    • Data consolidation, data analysis and forecast material preparation to support validation meetings and sign off by key stakeholders
    • Prepare and consolidate input data for Epson Consolidation Accounting System to parent company in Japan
    • Maintain the management allocation cycles, cost centre and profit centre structure
    • Prepare monthly budget/actual analysis for CISMETA region. Ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting including variance analysis within the scope of the role
    • Support CISMETA month end closing process by ensuring there are no technical accounting errors
    • Provide support and advice to Accountants in operational tasks based on IFRS
    • Ensure correct revenue & cost distribution to the P&L
    • Support Business/Region/Function owner with managing financial controls, monthly rolling forecast and ad hoc issues
    • Calculate and analyse profit in stock for financial management and cost of sales planning. Ensure that the purchase prices charged by Seiko Epson Corporation (SEC) deliver target profitability within CISMETA
    • Answer questions from headquarters and management regarding the financial reports. Prepare presentation materials for CISMETA and SEC Directors
    • Initiate and implement improvements in the execution of own and group activities, including the
    • improvement of processes and written procedures

    What we ask for:

    • Master s degree in finance or accounting or bachelor s degree with ability to work and interact at Master degree level
    • Demonstrated relevant experience with controlling activities, including proven analytical skills and improvement of business processes, preferably in an international environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with an ERP is a must, preferably SAP, and experience with SAP/ BW is highly beneficial
    • Service orientated with customer focus, stress resistant, innovative and analytical mindset
    • Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
