    Description
    Responsibilities

    • Lead the UZ1MMBD Construction team to support the objectives and strategies
    • Champion safety in all construction aspects of UZ1MMBD and promote the safety objective that 'Nobody gets Hurt'
    • Manage the 1MMBD On Island Construction team responsible for the planning, development and operations to ensure construction execution certainty
    • Manage the UZ1MMBD Contractor's construction planning and execution efforts to ensure compliance with UZ1MMBD Project objectives, strategies, obligations and requirements
    • Establish a construction organization to implement the 1MMBD Project execution plans and procedures and coordinate resourcing of UZ1MMBD construction team positions
    • Provide construction and execution strategy support to the 1MMBD Project Team through construction oversight and assistance
    • Ensure that the 1MMBD Contractor and Subcontractors are compliant with project safety expectations, policies and procedures
    • Steward the development of an Integrated Safety Plan for 1MMBD construction, including SIMOPS for all island and brownfield work
    • Assist in the review and implementation of all 1MMBD Contractor safety plans
    • Steward interfaces and interactions between the UZ1MMBD Contractor and other UZ Project entities, Production Operations, and Drilling
    • Manage the interface with ADNOC Offshore OPCO to execute brownfield works in order to minimize disruption in ongoing production operations
    • Ensure that the detailed design deliverables support constructability
    • Report construction progress, performance, initiatives and issues to the Project Team
    • Lead UZ1MMBD construction planning teams to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities
    • Sponsor construction related readiness reviews, constructability workshops and CERs
    • Take a leadership role in mentoring and training UAE Nationals in construction management
    • Clearly communicate to direct reports short term and long term goals that support the UZ1MMBD project objectives
    • Encourage and recognize outstanding performance, and ensure that staff are appraised regularly and developed accordingly

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent level of site experience in senior roles
    • Minimum of twenty (20) years of previous. Construction management experience on large oil and gas development projects
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures
