    Description

    What will youdo:

    • CourseMaintenance Excellence: Ensure optimal playing conditions bymanaging mowing, watering, and maintenance of all course areasincluding greens, tees, fairways, andbunkers.
    • Turf Management: Supervise planting,fertilizing, and pest control on turf, while also overseeingregular maintenance of course machinery and irrigationsystems.
    • Resource Management: Procure necessarymaterials within budget, plan renovations, and maintain records ofall operational activities to ensure efficient use ofresources.
    • Staff Supervision: Hire, train, andsupervise employees, emphasizing safety practices and efficientmachinery operation, while prioritizing daily tasks and providingexpert guidance.
    • Quality Control andCommunication: Conduct daily inspections, measure key performanceindicators, and address any issues promptly. Maintain transparentcommunication with clients, staff, and management, suggestingimprovements as necessary.
    • Administrative andRelationship Management: Complete projects on time, manageinventory, track work hours, and coordinate with clients andsupport teams to achieve customer objectiveseffectively.

    Required Skills to besuccessful:

    MinimumExperience:

    5 years of golfcourse maintenance experience, including 5 years in golf course orturf management, preferably as a Superintendent or AssistantSuperintendent.

    KeySkills:

    • Strong knowledge of golf courseconstruction and maintenance.
    • Proficiency inturf management, including fertilizers and pestcontrol.
    • Understanding of drainage, irrigation,and lake water quality management.

    Abilities:

    • Effective communication skills inEnglish.
    • Supervisory and problem-solvingabilities.
    • Capability to manage budgets anddelegate tasks.
