    Job Summary:

    The Sales Associate team member will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment that embraces our company culture of YES, WE CAN. This individual will be responsible for quoting and closing pallet racking system sales opportunities generated from various channels including internet queries, phone calls, walk-ins, and prospecting. A minimum of 5-10 years of material handling or pallet rack experience is required.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    None

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Interact with customers, provide assistance, and address queries regarding refurbished pallet racking systems
    • Offer written quotes within 24 hours on refurbished racking system pricing to potential customers
    • Adhere to sales quoting procedures
    • Recommend racking system solutions based on customer needs or preferences
    • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure on-time delivery
    • Work with project managers to coordinate the delivery and installation of racking system projects
    • Maintain sales documentation, update CRM records, nurture customer relationships, and follow up consistently with active and potential clients
    • Follow the direction of the Sales Manager, seek guidance in closing projects
    • Regularly report on monthly sales goals and promotional statuses

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong sales and negotiation abilities
    • In-depth knowledge of material handling and pallet rack system components
    • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
    • Advanced time management skills
    • Positive attitude with a sense of urgency

    Education and Experience:

    • A minimum of 5-10 years of material handling or pallet rack experience is required
    • At least 3 years of successful business-to-business sales experience

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
    • Occasional travel to meet with clients or potential clients

    All interested candidates must successfully pass a RAMSAY test before receiving a formal offer. Physical Requirements: The physical demands of the job include lifting 50-80 lbs, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, exposure to various elements, and specific vision requirements.
