    About TheRole

    The CustomerService Rep. is responsible for scheduling customerappointments for profiled waste deliveries to Covanta facilities inan efficient and timely manner. This includes coordinating with thefacility, customer, and transporter to facilitate the delivery ofacceptable material at the scheduledtime.

    Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to:

    • Receive and process customerscheduling requests via telephone, email, orfax
    • Profile wastes into Chemtron, Covantaand/or alternate disposal facilities and follow/manage the profilethrough the approval process
    • Answer incoming calls per week in a professional, accurate, timely, andcourteous manner
    • Work closely with facilitypersonnel to ensure customers follow delivery guidelines andrequirements. Contact customer when problem loads arrive at thefacility
    • Prepare Non- Hazardous labels,manifest, and other required paperwork that must accompany eachload
    • Solicit transportation and servicerequests for customers delivering within the United States, Canada,and Puerto Rico, and communicate and assist the transporter onbehalf of the customer
    • Handle special projectsassigned by Manager
    • Visit customers andfacilities as necessary with Account Executive orManager

    Requirements:

    • Proven customer service skills (2-4years' experience) required to create, maintain, andenhance customer relationships
    • Excellentwritten and oral communication skills are arequirement
    • Detail-oriented and handlesstressful situations well
    • Must be proficientwith productivity software (i.e. Intermediate Microsoft Excel,Word, Outlook, and CRM)
    • Undergraduate Degreepreferred
    • Valid State Driver's Licenserequired
