Description

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Manage and ensure timely VAT filings in compliance with local regulations.
Maintain and reconcile petty cash accounts, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and procurement process management.
Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for external audits, including liaising with auditors and providing requested information.
Assist in documenting financial information and reports required by banks for credit facilities and loans.
Collaborate in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Leverage your construction industry experience to address industry-specific accounting challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a plus.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT regulations, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Experience in the construction industry is mandatory.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pakistani/Indian nationals will be given first preference.
