    Job Description
    Our client is a UK business with a strong presence in Dubai.

    They have grown impressively over the past decade and through diversification and strong leadership they are confident that they continue to move forward.

    The Finance Controller is responsible for leading the finance (financial accounting and statutory IFRS financial reporting) team for this business unit.

    They will also be responsible to provide financial reporting of their unit to the holding company controller.

    They are responsible for guiding, directing and leading the following team members:

    • A/R Accountants
    • A/P Accountants
    • Fixed Assets AccountantAs the business has operations in various countries in the Middle East, as well as in the US, the role of BU finance controller also involves coordinating with country accountants to ensure the Financial Controls and Reporting is effectively managed for various country operations.

    General Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial accounting and controlling policies and guidelines in accordance with Group Controller and Finance Director's expectations.- Implement financial policies and processes, people and systems required to deliver the financial accounting and reporting for the Business Unit- Generate BU standalone financial statements and report on a monthly basis to Holding Co controller.

    • Qualified Accountant
    • Very strong IFRS experience
    • Experience running AP, AR, Cash
