    PositionSummary:

    Our esteemed clientis a leading Engineering and Construction firm based in Abu Dhabispecializing in providing tailored Engineering Procurement andConstruction (EPC) solutions for the Oil & Gas and EnergySectors. We are seeking a dynamic andexperienced Managing Director to oversee its operations in AbuDhabi. With a strong focus on projects engineering procurement andsubcontracts the organization is committed to maintainingexcellence in delivering highvalue services to itsclients.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • OperationalManagement:

    Manageand oversee all company departments (Projects Engineering &Proposals Procurement and Subcontracts HR andAdmin).

    Demonstrate ability to balancestrategic responsibilities with handson involvement in daytodayoperations as needed ensuring alignment with companygoals.

    Manage projects that typicallyrange from $10 to $15 million USD each in the Oil & Gassector ensuring optimal resource allocation and timely projectcompletion to fulfill client demands and organizationalobjectives.

    • FinancialOversight:

    Monitorcash flows and ensure timely revenue collection to maintainfinancial stability and support ongoingoperation.

    Evaluate and enhanceoperational and financial performance by overseeing budgetpreparation and maintain financialbudgets.

    • PeopleManagement and StakeholderRelations:

    Establishand maintain relationships with Middle East/UAE Oil & Gasregulatory bodies.

    Lead a large teamconsisting of both nationals andexpatriates.

    Oversee recruitmenttraining and employee assessmentprocesses.

    Initiate actions to supportand develop a positive social climate within theorganization.

    • StrategicLeadership:

    Developand propose short and mediumterm strategies to the Board ofDirectors.

    Set goals and progressplans ensuring efficient implementation ofstrategies.

    Provide strategic adviceto the board for accurate market insights and futureplanning.

    • Reporting:

    Prepareactivity reports for uppermanagement.

    Oversee financialreporting to ensure accuracy andcompliance.

    Key Qualifications andSkills:

    • CharteredEngineering Graduate who transitioned to Project Management of Oil& Gas projects with substantial O&G ProjectManagementexperience.
    • Experiencemanaging substantial Oil & Gas EPC projects typicallyranging from $10 to $15 million USD (preferably ADNOC as aclient).
    • Proficientin balancing strategic initiatives with active participation indaily operations as needed guaranteeing alignment withorganizationalobjectives.
    • Financiallyadept adeptly monitoring cash flows and implementing strategies toensure prompt revenue collection thereby upholding financialstability and sustaining operationalcontinuity.
    • Entrepreneurialmindset with experience navigating and building relations in theMiddle East/UAE Oil & Gas industry. (Familiarity with theUAE/Middle East region isdesirable.)
    • Minimum15 years of professional experience in the Oil & Gas/Energysectors.
    • Minimum10 years of professional experience in a similar senior managementrole (MDGM).
    • Provenexperience in managing a large team with both nationals andexpatriates.
    • Demonstrableexperience in developing strategic and businessplans.
    • Strongunderstanding of corporate finance and performancemetrics.
    • Exceptionalorganizational and leadershipskills.
    • Excellentcommunication interpersonal and presentationskills.
    • Outstandinganalytical and problemsolvingabilities.

    - Either 10+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer or 5+ yearsexperience as an Engineering Manager in a large O&G EPC companyor on O&G EPC Projects. - Bachelor's degree in a relevantengineering discipline with a preference for Mechanical Engineeringas an educational background. - Must be capable of leading multipledisciplines and effectively interface with all disciplines in-houseand with those of the client. - Must have excellent design relatedskills in terms of interpreting designs and to help the design teamproduce working or production drawings effectively. - Experienceworking with multinational and multicultural project teams. -Thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals ofengineering design and project delivery. - Thorough knowledge ofinternational codes and standards. - Experience managingengineering teams.
