    We are looking for a seasoned Finance Leaderwith a strong commercial mindset to join as Head of Finance forUAE. In this role you will provide leadership and guidance to theFinance function be a strong business partner to the managingdirector support the local strategy development for theorganization transformation; and lead a strong business financeteam supporting and adding value to the commercial organization.You will be accountable for the quality of all accountingrelatedmatters ensure that the business result and performance measuresare done on one set of numbers develop a strong financeorganization capable of supporting business growth and activelycontribute to the area of strategic plans

    Reporting to the Regional Chief Finance Manager India subcontinentMiddle East and Africa and being a core member of the United ArabEmirates Area (UAE) Leadership Team you will play a key role ininfluencing the business priority of being customercentric

    and overall business direction based on financialinsights and expertise.

    The role is based inthe Area head office in Dubai and oversees all countries in the UAEArea

    The UAE Area consists of UAE Oman& Qatar.

    KeyResponsibilities

    • Bring active leadership and act as a sparring partner within theArea leadership team.
    • Drive topquartile teamengagement.
    • Oversee the development ofrobust investment plans to support our Growth Arc.
    • Facilitate accelerated profitable and high growth of ourbusiness in the area particularly in Logistics & Servicesproducts.
    • Embed an owner mentality withinthe UAE Area with a strong focus on P&L mindset and theability to manage assets on the balance sheet.
    • Drive the usage of the standard reports i.e. share oneset of numbers owned by finance.
    • Proactivelysupport the Area management and functional leads improving thebusiness results.
    • Ensure the highest degreeof database decisionmaking in the Area and provide the outsideinperspective and benchmarking.
    • Act as achange agent for other global transformation programs and work onupskilling the area finance function to cater to new requirements.
    • Accountable for local statutory reportingrequirements are met and filed in accordance with local accountingpolicies tax department and effective engagement with the offshoredteams at the service center.
    • Lead and drivesolid business performance management framework across the business
    • Lead Business Finance team drive one set ofstandard data effective partnership to drive performance managementat right levels follow through actions to take initiatives tological closure with clear value addition.
    • Partner with Area Leadership Team and drive the target setting andperformance management of core Area deliverables SG&A andD&D providing insights / simulations on productivity (asneeded) for achieving Area performance and objectives on crossfunctional basis
    • Provide Global economicviews along with Area country outlook to determine strategy onvarious products
    • Area focal for Financesimplification / digitisation projects in close collaboration withGSC and Area Functional teams.
    • MOS:Responsible for providing required insights for the weekly/monthlyflow of MOS including MPRs.
    • Through the useof MicroStrategy and Power BI tools work with the Area and regionalFBP team on standardisation initiatives that improve valueadditionin Business Finance.
    • Monitor agency cost andensure adherence to people and administration cost budgets.
    • Follow the control framework and ensure thatcontrol activities are properly executed in the agency processes.

    Who we are lookingfor:

    • A solidfinancial educational background as Chartered Accountant orequivalent masters degree in Finance.
    • Minimum 810 years related finance experience in an internationalorganisation. Industry experience is preferred but not a must.
    • Substantial people leadership experiencewith a proven trackrecord of selecting and coaching financeprofessionals.
    • Proven track record of addingvalue to the business through business partnering.
    • Possess a high degree of analytical skills and iscapable of combining strategy with financial insights.
    • Strong commercial acumen to understand and challengebusiness agenda.
    • Experienced in workingclosely with offshore teams in sharedservice centres and being apart of an international function and multicultural teams.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skillsability to explain financial data and conclusions based on them tostakeholders with nonfinancial background.
    • Excellent English proficiency and communication skills.
    • Charismatic personality of a real influencer able tolead people successfully through transformation within theorganization and to transform business approach in peoples mindset.
    • Handson experience in the areas ofM&A and postmerger integration.
    • Excellent English proficiency
    • Seniorstakeholder management and ability to influence and collaboratecross functionally and in a matrix organization.
