    Description

    Job Description: CoffeeMachineTechnician

    PositionOverview: The Coffee Machine Technician plays a vitalrole in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of coffeemachines used in various settings including cafes restaurantsoffices.This position involves installing repairing and servicingcoffee machines as well as providing technical support and trainingto customers and colleagues. The role requires strong mechanicalskills technical knowledge of coffee machine systems and acommitment to delivering highquality service tocustomers.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    1. Installationand Setup:
      • Install and setup coffee machines at customer locations ensuring proper placementconnection to water and power sources and calibration ofsettings.
      • Conduct initial testingand quality checks to verify that the machine is functioningcorrectly and producing the desired coffeequality.
    2. Maintenanceand Repair:
      • Perform routinemaintenance tasks on coffee machines including cleaning descalingand replacing worn or faultyparts.
      • Diagnose and troubleshoottechnical issues with coffee machines such as malfunctioning pumpsheating elements or brewingmechanisms.
      • Conduct repairs andadjustments to restore coffee machines to optimal performancefollowing manufacturer guidelines and safetyprotocols.
    3. TechnicalSupport:
      • Provide technicalsupport and assistance to customers over the phone via email or inperson troubleshooting issues and offering solutions to resolveproblems.
      • Educate customers onproper usage maintenance and care of their coffee machinesincluding tips for optimizing performance and prolonginglifespan.
    4. InventoryManagement:
      • Maintain aninventory of spare parts tools and supplies needed for servicingcoffee machines ensuring adequate stock levels to support repairand maintenance activities.
      • Orderreplacement parts and supplies as needed coordinating withsuppliers and internal teams to ensure timelydelivery.
    5. Trainingand Documentation:
      • Traincustomers and staff members on the operation maintenance andtroubleshooting of coffee machines either individually or throughgroup training sessions.
      • Documentservice activities including repairs performed parts replaced andmaintenance tasks completed using appropriate forms or digitalsystems.

    Qualificationsand Skills:

    • Highschool diploma or equivalent; technical certification orapprenticeship in appliance repair electrical engineering or arelated field is preferred.
    • Provenexperience as a technician servicing coffee machines or similarequipment with a strong understanding of espresso machines dripbrewers and other types of coffeeequipment.
    • Proficiency in diagnosingand repairing mechanical electrical and plumbing issues related tocoffee machines.
    • Strongproblemsolving skills and the ability to work independently totroubleshoot and resolve technicalissues.
    • Excellent communication andcustomer service skills with the ability to explain technicalconcepts clearly to nontechnicalindividuals.


    -High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification orapprenticeship in appliance repair, electrical engineering, or arelated field is preferred. -Proven experience as a technicianservicing coffee machines or similar equipment, with a strongunderstanding of espresso machines, drip brewers, and other typesof coffee equipment. -Proficiency in diagnosing and repairingmechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues related to coffeemachines. -Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to workindependently to troubleshoot and resolve technicalissues.
