    Description

    Thepurpose of this position is to serve asanAluminum Welder and Fabricator for a wide range of construction andrepair projects at NEP s Systems Integration facility inPittsburgh,

    • Workfrom blueprints and instructions from design engineers to layout,measure, mark, and arrangematerial
    • Squaringup, welding, cut, grind, and chamber aluminum of different widthsand maintaining various geometries ofcomponents
    • Inspectwork for accuracy and
    • Workin coordination with other construction and maintenance personnel(Mechanical, carpentry, paint and electrical) to keep projects onschedule
    • Operateand maintain a variety of equipment such as hand tool, mill, saws,;
    • Ensureall equipment is properly set-up and used in a safemanner
    • Makesure all safety devices are in use and maintain a clean andorganized work
    • Makessmall repairs to equipment as required
    • Maintaininventory of materials, tools and associated fabricationproducts
    • Occasionallyassist carpentry crew with other aspects of mobile unit trailerfabrication
    • Movingparts and heavy frames on and off a worktable and throughout thefacility


    Requirements

    • 2years of demonstrated experience welding aluminum and working in avariety of carpentry applications
    • Abilityto ready blueprints, CAD drawings, welding symbols and handwrittennotes orsketches
    • Musthave experience working with hands, hand tools, power tools, tapemeasure, heavy machinery
    • Mustbe able to do TIG welding on TIG Certification seen as a plus
    • Passionfor producing a quality product efficiently
    • Athorough knowledge of carpentry materials and tools
    • Mustbe highlyconscious
    • Mustbe highly motivated, detail oriented, and work in a teamenvironment
    • Interfaceand communicate well with supervisor, and facilitystaff
    • Abilityto deliver superior service and build lasting relationships bydemonstrating NEP s Core Values: innovative, one team, passion andintegrity
