    Description

    Previously known as BTC Managercrypto news is a rebranded andrefreshed version of the website ready to tackle the biggest andmost important stories in the cryptoindustry.

    Were seeking a hardworking anddedicated News Editor(EST time zone) who is eager to enterthe world of news media and be the first to report on emergingstories

    Tasks

    Keyresponsibilities:

    • Editingnewsletter;
    • Working with reporters defining thepublications news agenda;
    • Working with sourcesto develop and cover stories;
    • Assigningfactchecking editing and publishingstories;
    • Breaking and writing news whenneeded;
    • Participating in editorial meetings andassisting in implementing an editorialstrategy.

    Requirements

    Tobe considered for this role you shouldhave:

    • Degree inJournalism;
    • 3 years in a newsroom with fulltimeexperience managing reporters and editing breaking and dailystories.
    • Prior crypto reporting and editingexperience;
    • The ability to work in the US/ESTtime zone is a must
    • A track record ofinterviewing and interacting with primary sources developingrelationships with sources breakingscoops;
    • Strong interpersonal and communicationskills both written and verbal.
    • A highlyorganized resourceful and proactive selfstarter committed toaccuracy and meetingdeadlines.
