    Job Title: Customer ServiceExecutive Freight Forwarding

    JobDescription:

    We are seeking a highlymotivated and skilled Customer Service Executive to join our teamin the freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for managing customer inquiries obtaining rates fromliners negotiating with carriers and making informed decisions toensure optimal service delivery.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Customer Inquiry Management:Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally providingaccurate information on freight rates services and transittimes.

    2. Rate Procurement: Liaise withvarious liners to obtain competitive freight rates for differentshipping routes and service levels.

    3. Negotiation: Utilize negotiationskills to secure favorable rates and terms from carriers ensuringcosteffective solutions for ourcustomers.

    4. Rate Comparison: Analyze andcompare rates obtained from different carriers considering factorssuch as transit time reliability and additional servicesoffered.

    5. Decision Making: Make informeddecisions based on the analysis of rate options customerrequirements and company objectives striving to achieve optimalbalance between cost and servicequality.

    6. Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriersensuring excellent communication and service delivery at alltimes.

    7. Documentation: Assist in preparingand reviewing shipping documentation ensuring accuracy andcompliance with regulatoryrequirements.

    8. Issue Resolution: Address anyissues or concerns raised by customers or carriers promptly andeffectively striving to achieve satisfactory resolutions for allparties involved.

    Requirements:

    Bachelors degree in BusinessAdministration Logistics or related fieldpreferred.

    Proven experience incustomer service freight forwarding or relatedindustry.

    Strong negotiation skillswith the ability to secure competitive rates and favorableterms.

    Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.

    Analyticalmindset with the ability to compare and evaluate rate optionseffectively.

    Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice suite and relevant industrysoftware.

    Ability to multitaskprioritize tasks and work effectively underpressure.

    Knowledge of internationaltrade regulations and shipping practices is aplus
