    Description

    The General Manager oversees the daily operation of thedispensary, handling the needs of all customers and developing aprofessional team that is passionate about The GM also works toensure the facilitys sound recordkeeping and compliance with localand state Priorities include the implementation of dispensarypolicies, oversight and management of quality product inventory,and the hiring, development, and supervision of dispensary The GMis also responsible for overseeing marketing, promotions, and themaintenance of reports as they pertain to the daily operations andfinancials of the

    Job Functions

    • Ensure the dispensarys compliance with security,inventory and local and stateregulations
    • Manage and inspire internal staff todeliver the highest level of customerservice
    • Ensure the safety and satisfaction ofevery customer andemployee
    • Responsible for providing a high level ofeducation and development for staff pertaining to medical cannabisstrains, edibles, concentrates and consumption mechanisms
    • Create budgets and forecast sales based onprinciples of retail business andexperience
    • Set sales, service,and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them
    • Workclosely with Inventory manager to procure an adequate supply ofqualityproducts
    • Fulfill staffing needs and coordinatescheduling
    • Communicate with and coach staff on aregular basis to ensure the dispensarys excellence in service andlabor practices within thecommunity
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpretdocuments relating to dispensary performance, general businessperiodicals, professional journals, safety, security and technicalprocedures, and governmentalregulations
    • Ability to write reports, businesscorrespondence, and proceduremanuals
    • Develop operations plans and implement andmanage dispensary policies andprocedures
    • Document financial, Inventory and customertrends; maintain sales and purchasingreports
    • Manage and maintain dispensary sales andinventory managementsoftware

    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Business or relatedexperience
    • Five years of experience in a retailmanagementenvironment
    • Excellent customer communication andserviceskills
    • Strong interpersonal communication andconflict resolutionskills
    • Passionate about serving the IL medicalcannabiscommunity
    • Strong accounting, math and computerskills
    • Must attain required statelicensure
    • Must be willing to submit to a backgroundcheck
    • Must be willing to workweekends
    • Prior experience within the medicalcannabis community and/or health and wellness industries is aplus
