    Candidate should have Bachelor s Degree in Nursing with QCHPLicense

    KeyResponsibilities

    Plan, develop, coordinate and monitor the delivery of healthservices for Marsa Malaz Kempinski, ThePearl.

    Formulate, implement and evaluate policies and strategies forhealth protection and surveillance of team members to meet companyrequirements.

    Promote team member s health andwell-being.

    Collaborates with ancillary support services in adherence tointernational standards to plan a safe, environment for staffincluding the provision of healtheducation.

    Plan and develop data collection and analysis methodologies forpresentation and continuousimprovements.

    Communicate trends and advise on action plans to meet statutory andvoluntary requirements for health protection and mandatoryreporting to relevantauthorities.

    Contribute to the provision of training, advice, vaccinations,sickness / absence management, investigations of cases inoccupational ill health and other general Occupational healthissues.

    Manage the Occupational Health budget to ensure adequate resourcesare available for optimum functioning of theservice

    Planand organize operational activities in response to referrals fromHR and other departmentmanagers

    Plan, provide and evaluate staff assistance service such asEmployee Assistance Program, Medical Health Insurance, InfluenzaProgram and Well- Being program based on organization srequirement

    Provide a collaborative approach to managing sickness and absenceand other Occupational Health relatedissues.



    Requirements

    KeyRoleAccountabilities:

    ClinicalPractice

    Functions independently to evaluates and treats patients withcomplex acute, critical and chronically ill patients, according towritten guidelines as defined by the nurse practitionersprofessional scope of practice as defined by the QCHP and inadherence with Sidras agreed upon scopes ofpractice

    Performs age appropriate histories on newpatients

    Performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of the normal andabnormal findings on newpatients

    Obtains age appropriate interval histories on returnpatients

    Performs focused examinations on returnpatients

    Performs or requests and evaluates diagnostic studies as indicatedupon evaluation of thepatient

    CustomerRelations andCommunication

    Consistently utilizes and facilitates effective communicationstrategies giving appropriate and constructive feedback toindividual patients, families, and other members of the health careteam regarding behavior that is detrimental to the achievement ofhospital and patient care goals andoutcomes

    In view ofthe evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra during thispre-operational phase, this position may be required to performother duties as assigned and reporting relationships mayvary.

    SelectionCriteria:

    Degree from an accredited school ofnursing

    Holds the appropriate Board Certification forspecialty

    Aminimum of 1-3 years experience with 3 years experience as aregistered general nurse and a minimum of 2 years of experience asan APN in PediatricNeurology

    Basic Life Support certification(Pediatric/Adult)

    Advanced Life Support certification required in some specialtyareas
