    Overview:

    The EasternEurope Middle East and Africa team is looking for a SecurityOperations Lead to secure our people and business to thrive in aworld beyond cash. The best fit candidate will be an excellent teamplayer with a strong servicecentric mentality. The role holder willwork with unerring vigilance to develop implement and upgrade theregional security platform policies risk and compliance managementoperations to prevent loss or damage of human physical andintellectual assets in relation to risk exposure. The SecurityOperations Lead Eastern Europe Middle East & Africa (EEMEA)will continuously seek to simplify and improve processes. The idealcandidate will be comfortable in a fastpaced multitasked highenergyenvironment. They will be a creative and analytical problem solverwith a passion for delivering results.

    Role:
    • Support security enterprisesecurity risk management agenda for Divisional security officersreporting to the EEMEA Regional Chief Security Officer (RCSO) toprotect MCs assets including people facilities technology andinformation.
    • Support and delivery of serviceengagements for assessing and evaluating security risks associatedwith business travel Executive Protection event securityinformation protection programs site security business projects andregulatory requirements etc.
    • Collaborate withCrisis Management People & Capabilities Real EstateServices etc. to ensure the All Hazards Plan and office CrisisResponse Plan addresses applicable threat and risk e.g. naturaldisasters fires crime terrorism etc. throughoutEEMEA.
    • Collaborate closely with Sourcing toensure procurement activity addresses security risks for protectivesecurity efforts and capability/productdelivery.
    • Ensure ongoing security serviceprovider coverage for EEMEA region through cultivation of vendorrelationships and collaboration with Sourcing delegates onfulfillment of contract sourcing processendtoend.
    • Act as subject matter expert anddelegate to enable evaluation of security vendors in collaborationwith Technology and Sourcing delegates.
    • Assistin the provision of oversight guidance and direction to Mastercardguarding teams at EEMEA regionallocations.
    • Assist in the identificationassessment monitoring and management of corporate travel activityto mitigate risk to Mastercard colleagues for business travelwithin EEMEA.
    • Conduct security risk assessmentsof regional corporate sites hosting Mastercard assets e.g. datacenters fixed office and managed suites as needed in collaborationwith market business leadership and Real EstateServices.
    • Provide security assurance toMastercard onsoil data centers including routine liaison withvendor points of contact and annual inspection of Data Centersacross EEMEA or as directed by Regional Chief SecurityOfficer.
    • With the support of other specialistfunctions formalize regional security business continuity plans andimplement necessary arrangements andsolutions.
    • Support security systems servicesand coordinates new security systems installations with regionalsecurity systems vendors ensuring regular maintenance and servicingby the vendors through close collaboration with global stakeholdersand facility management team.
    • Maintainknowledge of complex industry trends current security issues andsecurity technology and update management on risks and threats thatcould impact the company business.
    • Any othersecurity related taskings as directed by the Regional ChiefSecurity Officer.
    All About You:
    • Strong experience as asecurity professional.
    • It is desirable that thecandidate have had demonstrable experience working within complexGlobal organizations serving high threatmarkets.
    • Proven track record of deliveringsecurity services and operations in a highly volatile and sensitiveenvironment.
    • It is desirable to have knowledgeof principles of personnel protection and demonstrable experienceplanning & executing executive protectiontasks.
    • Ability to communicate with seniormanagement on threat assessment security requirements and providetimely and actionable recommendations.
    • Besensitive to processes and have clear logical thinking for relatedduties.
    • Team player with strong communicationskills and can handle high pressure in a fastpaced workenvironment.
    • Passion to continuously improveand keenness to work in a dynamic environment that is leading thedigital evolution in payments andtechnology.
    • It is desirable that the candidatehas demonstrable experience working in the Middle East and NorthAfrica.
    • Must have the capacity to travelthroughout Eastern Europe Middle East and Africa. Travel withinregion is at least 25 %.
    • It is desirable thatthe successful candidate speaks French andArabic.
    • Candidate must speak Englishfluently.
