This role is aseasoned professional using Business Intelligence tools to toextract, transform and load datasets for use by both client andinternally focused Business Intelligence & Insightsdashboards, and reports. They have a good understanding of othertechnologies like database management, web development and securityprinciples. They will partner with our customers to designsolutions that meet their needs. Their knowledge is recognisedwithin the team and they will provide guidance, coaching andmentoring to other BI Data Engineers

• Lead solution design discussions, andtake the lead on the creation of design specifications, ensuringproposed solutions are feasible and meet the stated businessrequirements
• Independently develops datasets tosupport Business Intelligence dashboards, reports andapplications
• Is a key contributor in definingthe team's developmentframework
• Implement solutions following theappropriate change and code control processes and tools. Completeall corresponding documentation
• Monitorproduction of own and other team members solutions ensuringproduction issues are quickly identified andanalysed
• Independently identifies and correctcomplex production errors related to overall teamresponsibilities.
• Supports other team membersby analysing production issues and make recommendations on howrecurring issues can be addressed
• Communicateeffectively with Business Intelligence stakeholders in relation toBusiness Intelligence outages and data governanceissues
• Understand potential drivers behind dataquality issues and independently investigate and/or leveragesappropriate resources effectively to resolve even complex issuesthat occur
• Take ownership for the production ofdocumentation that supports end user knowledge of BusinessIntelligence & Insights solutionsdelivered
• Supports other team members inestablishing their approach to solutiondevelopment
• Support other team members throughcode reviews and providing recommendations on how they can improvesolutions
• Through coaching and mentoring,supports the development of other BIEngineers
• Is recognised as a leader within theteam and demonstrates a high level of expertise in one or morespecific subject areas. Co-ordinates and provides support to thedevelopment team in these areas by sharing knowledge throughdocumentation, posts, Wiki entries andtraining
• Is pro-active and demonstrates goodjudgement in determining how the team can improve. Takes the leadin recommending processes, tools and techniques to improve both oursolutions and our overall contribution to Concentrix and ourclients.
• Both creates and delivers effectivetraining to audiences from both within and outside of theteam.
• Build relationships with key personneloutside of own team, leveraging those resources as needed in thesupport of the teams goals
• Contributes to thedefinition of best practice for BI development within theorganisation
• Supports the adoption of BI toolsand execution of associated processes and best practice across theorganization
• Contribute insights andrecommendations in relation to the strategic roadmap for theteam
