    The role will entailworking with high quality work from local estate agents and ; Wehave full administrative support with separate teams to deal withquotes, file opening and post completion

    DepartmentDuties

    Undertake and supervise fee earning work in ResidentialConveyancing and supervise/deputise in the Conveyancing

    Ensure thesuccessful development of the firm in line with the strategyidentified in the business

    Toadminister all aspects of Residential Conveyancing on behalf of

    Areasofwork

    Sales

    Purchases

    Remortgages

    Transfers ofequity

    Newbuildpurchases

    Sales and purchases ofpart



    Liaising directly with other parties withenquiries/relies

    Undertaking searches with Local Authority, Land Registry

    Reportingto clients with relevant information on tier transaction andadvising clients wherenecessary

    Attending upon clients to sign legaldocuments

    Drawing up completionstatements

    Agreeing dates with all parties and exchangingContracts

    Arranging the transfer of monies oncompletion

    Submitting stamp duty forms and registering documents at LandRegistry

    Complying with Solicitors Accounts Rules and Rules of ProfessionalConduct ofsolicitors

    Exercising high standards of client carealways

    Management of own support staff/secretary ifapplicable

    Participation in marketing activities and active promotion of thefirm

    Financial control through collection of monies on account andbilling procedures on ownmatters

    Ensuring confidentiality and security of Firm s and client sdocumentation andinformation

    Carrying out any other duties relevant to the position as and whenrequired by the Partners of the



    Requirements

    Have experience of working within a residential conveyancingdepartment of a Licenced conveyancing firm or solicitorsfirm

    Haveexperience of using a case managementsystem

    Responsible for self-development and comply with relevant trainingrequirements by the Law Society and in-house training when

    DesirableSkills

    Ability to work under pressure and meetdeadlines

    Ability to work on your own initiative and makedecisions

    Ability to work as part of ateam

    Abilityto prioritiseeffectively

    Maintain a smart appearance and dress code appropriate for therole
