    Description
    Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, security, and performance.

    The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of network technologies and a proven track record of successfully managing complex network environments.


    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement network solutions that meet the organization's requirements for scalability, security, and performance.
    • Evaluate and recommend network hardware and software upgrades as needed.
    • Develop network diagrams, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
    • Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.
    • Install and configure network services such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
    • Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices.
    • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
    • Respond to and mitigate security incidents and breaches.
    • Monitor network traffic and performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
    • Optimize network configurations to ensure maximum efficiency and availability.
    • Capacity planning to anticipate and accommodate future network growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, software developers, and cybersecurity experts, to ensure seamless network operations.
    • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior network engineers and technicians.
    • Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, inventory, and change logs.
    • Generate regular reports on network performance and security. Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, with at least [X] years in a senior or lead capacity.
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certifications preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
    • Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Cisco Prime, SolarWinds).
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
