    Description

    What will I bedoing?

    As a Spa Therapist, youare responsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards:

    • AttendingHilton Trainings and monthly departmental meetings asrequired
    • To ensure high standards ofcleanliness in the department
    • To report anymaintenance issues to the Manager
    • Assist in allareas of the operations as requested by theManager
    • To be fully aware of current and futureservices offered by the hotel
    • To ensure thatdepartmental operation budget is adhered to, maximizing revenuesand minimizing expenses
    • Provides efficientguest service from point of arrival to check out. Books, changesand cancels appointments and up sellsretail
    • Accurately schedule all massagereservations, changes, confirms and cancel massagereservations
    • Accurately process all billing andposting for spa and retail services: report any overages andshortages to the Manager
    • Accurately explain spatreatment menu and packages to guests
    • Greet andwelcome all incoming and outgoing guests and staff in accordance tobrand Standards
    • Maintain the quality of serviceand overall appearance of locker areas, lounge area andrestrooms
    • Ensure proper cleanliness of lockerroom, lounge, steam/sauna room, prep room andrestrooms
    • Ensure stocking of water and otherbeverages and set up and break down ofbeverage
    • Assisting guest and providing personaltraining session, if necessary
    • Maintaining theFitness center: looking after equipment and coordinating withPrecor representative for maintenance and productupdates
    • To ensure audio-visual equipment iswell maintained and in good condition
    • To ensurehigh standards of cleanliness in thedepartment
    • Provides courteous and efficientguest service from point of arrival through checkout
    • Orient the guests through our Fitnessfacility, greets guests and provides personal guestservice

    What are we lookingfor?

    At Hilton Dubai PalmJumeirah, a Spa Therapist serving Hilton Brand hotels is alwaysworking on behalf of our Guests and working with other TeamMembers. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain theattitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

    • Ability to read and interpretdocuments such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions and procedure manuals
    • Experiencein hospitality or customer service industry isrequired
    • Ability to read, write, speak andunderstand the English language to effectively communicate withguests
    • Ability to speak effectively in front ofgroups of customers or employees oforganization
    • Ability to deal with problemsinvolving several concrete variables in standardizedsituations
    • At least 1 year experience in thespa or hospitality industry

    It would be advantageous in thisposition for you to demonstrate the following capabilities anddistinctions:

    • Experiencein a resort or wellness relatedfield
