    Description
    • Inspects shipments of materials,equipment and supplies received in order to ensure compliance withpurchase order specifications. Identifies and reports shortages,damages and other discrepancies.
    • Arranges thestorekeeping of goods, materials, supplies and equipment tooptimize safekeeping and use ofspace.
    • Documents receipt of goods, materials,and equipment into JDE system.
    • Analyzes spaceusage for maximum utilization.
    • Confers withother purchasing staff as needed to determine storage spacerequirements and optimum stockquantities.
    • Works with procurement forexpediting local material procurement, expediting and delivery andto maintain maintains fixed assetinventory.
    • Works with procurement, logisticsand after sales to documents incoming and outgoing materialtransactions to support annual fixed asset inventory andaudits.
    • Assists with inventory and dispositionof surplus property, processing necessary forms and documentationby following the correct companyprocedure.
    • Analyzes inventory, Job material andconsumables movement and suggests re-order points and/oradjustments in the amount of inventory stored for futureconsumption.
    • Works with workshop assembly team,issue and tracks material project wise and report any shortfall oradditional needs and report access material at the end of eachproject.
    • Coordinate and conduct periodicphysical inventories, including the annual formal inventory, ofwarehoused items and fixed assets.
    • Performsother duties as assigned that support the overall objective of theposition and to support workshop.
    • Must complyand ensure that all NOV Company HSE policies and procedures arefollowed at all time.
    • Organizes and maintainswarehouse / Workshop store.

    BehavioralSkills/Competencies Required

    • Requires a basic knowledge of thematerials, equipment and supplies stored and used in Oil and Gasskid mounted equipment manufacturingoperations.
    • Requires a thorough understandingof warehouse recordkeeping techniques including appropriatecomputer-aided programs / JDE for purchase orders, fixed assets(capital and inventory), receiving, scheduling, and materialmanagement.
    • Requires knowledge and skill ofusing warehouse equipment such as, but not limited to, EOT Crane,forklift, pallet jack, and other material handlingdevices
    • Requires sufficient math skills tocompute sums and fractions.
    • Requires sufficientlanguage skills to document warehouse activity and prepare routinereports.
    • Requires sufficient human relationsskill to maintain positive work relationships with internalcustomers and vendors, and to train other 3rd party worker assignedto the warehouse as needed.
    • Must be able towork indoor in a workshop environment and outdoor engaged in workof primarily an active nature.
    • Requires theability to maintain cardiovascular fitness to engage in activephysical labor.
    • Requires ambulatory ability tosit, walk to campus locations, and operate vehicles andequipment.
    • Requires the ability to lift, carryand move Light to medium weight materials on a frequent basisfollowed by safety procedures.
    • Ability tooperate commercial forklift and license of forklift will be addedbenefit.
