    You will beworking as Workshop Service Engineer will be part of MotionBusiness Area for Service division based in Dubai UAE. In this roleyou will be responsible to support the unit in achieving the setproduction targets by adhering to the systems and processescorrectly using machinery and equipment on the shop floor read andinterpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly ofproducts/systems/panels.

    Yourresponsibilities

    • Applying safety rules and safe practices as well as environmentalresponsibilities reporting unsafe practices and incidentsmaintaining departmental housekeepingstandards
    • Contributing to customersatisfaction by executing workshop orders according to workshopprocesses and guidelines acting with sense of urgency and care inthe direct area of responsibility
    • Performingworkshop tasks such as Drives troubleshooting repair assembly andtesting of ACS880/800/550/580/ ACS800LC DC driving and all otherABB VFD product family which are arriving toworkshop
    • Supporting training centercoordination & training deliveries checking bill ofmaterials and other documents to identify required parts for neededfor service activity and ensures that all materials parts andequipment are available for service execution.
    • Material handling storage of shipments handling spare parts andkeeping inventory up to date ensuring the completion processing andmaintenance of all required documentation.
    • Keeping track of drive arriving and leaving the workshop andkeeping customer updated with the progress of the service preparingfor deliveries with DN/PL arranging packing and logistics followupDSW case data file entry and update with utmost accuracyEwaste/recycling process handling.
    • Proactivelyexecuting work on a firsttime right approach and ensuring the jobis done on time and on quality identifying improvement needs andpotential solutions for them in the way of working communicatingproactively and driving small improvementactions.
    • Providing technical support serviceto end user with regard to the DSW cases in accordance with ABBguideline.

    Yourbackground

    • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics
    • Minimum 3 6 years service experience in LVDrives
    • Electrical /Electronic troubleshootingwith report making skills MS office excelskills
    • Fluency in English language ismandatory
