    Description:

    Thiswill be part of a small safety team. The scope of work is only havesome general labor and carpentry employees.

    Schedule: 6 10's, but needsat least 5 10's weekly.

    Duration:Finishing around September 2025

    Build working relationships with projectpartners to lead and direct assignedprojects

    in implementing cultural changes insafety.

    • Analyze problems,make recommendations, and drive positive change.

    Communicate to leadership andproject team the requirements forimproving

    performance including addressingissues, concerns, and corrective actions.

    • Lead and direct project team oncompliance with Turner's safety policies and

    procedures, and environmentaloperational program.

    • Analyze Phase I, Phase II, andpre-demolition surveys to assure project-specific

    program addresses mitigation ofenvironmental risks.

    • Review Risk Management policiesrelated to environmental compliance, coordinate

    pre-planning efforts and communicaterequirements to project teamand/or

    subcontractors. Coordinate mitigationactivities with BUEHSD andRisk

    Management.

    • Interpret OSHA and EPA regulationsspecific to environmental hazards, such as

    storm water, mold, asbestos, PCBs,and lead, etc.

    • Develop andimplement programs, beyond the overall project safety program,that

    benefit the safety,health and wellbeing of workers.

    • Develop and provide owner reports andexplain overall safety performance of

    project. Prepare and present projectEH&S information at owner meetings.

    • Negotiate contracts with vendors forsafety services, off-site occupational health

    facilities and on-site medicalservices providers.

    • Guideand develop Project Safety Assistants and Project Safety Managers(if

    applicable),preparing thorough, accurate, and timely performanceevaluations,

    delivering honest andconstructive feedback to direct reports at different levels,and

    tying individual employee goals to projectand company objectives.

    • Educate and mentor other projectsafety staff including joint venturepartners.
    • Participate in evaluation of staff incollaboration with the BUEHSD; identify staff

    development needs and recommendappropriate developmentalactivities.
